Welcome to the of the Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians, known as CABMET. CABMET is an association of individuals interested in the advancement of Biomedical Equipment Technology dedicated to better patient care. The association encourages a free exchange of information between BMETS, hospitals, and vendors. We meet every other month at 6:30 P.M. usually on the third Thursday.

CABMET's First AAMI Essay Contest
BMET Leticia Malone with Banner Health
has won CABMET's first essay contest
The contest’s grand prize was free airfare, hotel, and ground transportation to the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) conference in Tampa, FL, in June.
Malone, a member of the US Army Reserve, will be away on active duty during the show,
Runner-up Richard Marshall,
an HSS employee at Poudre Valley Hospital will claim the prize.

CBET Study Group Fall 2010
The deadline for registration is: September 6, 2010.
CABMET has a study group for all technicians interested in taking the ICC Certification test for CBET on November 6, 2010. The first class starts Tuesday, September 21, 2010. This group will be held in the Denver, CO and will be available by
teleconference and web
anywhere in the nation.
