Board Member - Stephen Zeien

I graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology in 1996 and worked in the semiconductor industry maintaining capital equipment until 2007.  After having seen many ups and downs in that industry, I decided to work my way towards the medical industry. It was very difficult to transition directly into a hospital environment, but, using my manufacturing experience, I was able to move into medical device component manufacturing and then medical device manufacturing.  In February of 2019 I had the opportunity to join UCHealth maintaining biomedical equipment and think I’ve found a company and field I can finish my career in.

I am very new to the clinical environment and have a lot to learn about my field, but I have served on the board of another non-profit in the past and do have a high-tech background that should fit in well with CABMET.  I would love to serve and support CABMET wherever I can be useful.
